Designing a top or a dress that works front to back is one thing. Designing trousers that fit, flatter and move beautifully whichever way you wear them was a different puzzle altogether. The crotch seam alone felt like an impossible equation. Every time we solved one issue, another appeared.

Our founder/designer and garment technician went back and forth, sketching, pattern cutting, tweaking and testing. Each version brought us that little bit closer to a piece that could be worn two ways, with no fastenings and still deliver that feeling our customers know so well: effortless elegance.

After months of fine-tuning, fittings and reimagining, we finally cracked it. And when we saw the finished piece for the first time -  how the ultra-wide legs flowed like a gown, the adjustable corset ties sculpted the waist and the reversible necklines transformed the look in seconds -  we knew it was worth every step.

This isn’t just a jumpsuit. It’s a piece of engineering, a labour of love and the answer to years of requests from our customers. We’re so happy to finally be able to deliver, and hope that you love wearing 'Joy' just as much as we loved creating her for you.
