Follow the washing instructions on the inside washing label for the best results.

For the most sustainable care, we recommend washing as little as possible. Use a handwashing process wherever you can, as this doesn’t rely on washing machines and dryers that use a lot of power. It is also a gentler process that will allow the garment to last longer. We recommend opting for eco-friendly washing detergents.

Sustainability

People - the garment is sewn ethically in London, UK, and made by expert sewing machinists, paid above a living wage. AYM is a member of the Brighton Living Wage Organisation, which raises awareness of the importance of paying a living wage.

Packaging - All paper and card packaging, including boxes, swing tags, and box inserts, are produced using FSC® responsible paper and card. They can be biodegraded or recycled after use. The garment bags are used to protect the garment to ensure it does not get damaged in storage and transit. These bags are made using a D2W biodegradable material.

Rene Reversible Mini Dress Details

Choose your fabric

As part of our commitment to sustainability we are investing more money into sustainable fabric options. This comes at a cost - as sustainable fabrics are more expensive.

We don't want to push this price increase onto products without having your input. Instead, we want to give you the option of selecting a fabric type and subsequent price that suits your budget.

Below we explain the differences between the two fabric options.

ITY

60% Recycled Polyester, 35% Polyester and 5% Elastane.

Global Recycle Standard Certified recycled content.

This fabric has good hold and drape. It maintains it's stretch wash after wash. You won't need to iron or steam these garments as the fabric is hardy in its' resistance to wrinkling. It is fast drying and we would therefore recommend hanging to dry rather than using machines.

Polyester is made from non-renewable resources. This contains 60% Recycled content. We are working to improve the % of recycled fibres in our fabrics.

This fabric is highly durable, stretchy and comfortable to wear. The Rye dress is double layered throughout the body and skirt. The sleeves are single layered.

Organic Bamboo

68% Bamboo, 28% Cotton, 4% Elastane.

Our Organic Bamboo fabric is GOTS Organic Certified fabric. It is milled in an ethical facility in Turkey. The Bamboo fabric is has a heavy weight to it, with a buttery soft feel. In this top we have double layered the front and back of the body to provide a smoothing, supportive fit. The sleeves are single layered fabric so that they are comfortable without being restrictive.

The Bamboo fabric has many benefits including being naturally anti-deodorising, temperature regulating and durable. The quality of this fabric makes it a durable, long lasting option for this wardrobe staple.
